Mary has been coaching at PRA since it first opened in 2011. Starting with Girls on the Run and Middle School XC, and moved to the high school when it opened 7 years ago. Mary was a state champion in high school cross country and track, and a NCAA All-American cross country runner in college. She continues to run and enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge with PRA’s student athletics. She is a regulatory and nutrition consultant for the food industry and has 2 daughters (Avery 10th and Tessa 7th grade) at PRA. Mary has completed her USATF Level 1 and 2 Coaching Education Programs.
Ben Mulvaney, Assistant XC Coach
Coach Mulvaney was a high school All-State runner and NCAA All-American in both Cross Country and Track. He has experience coaching cross country and track both in Wisconsin and Colorado and is excited to challenge student athletes to stretch themselves athletically, socially, and academically. In his "day job," Ben is a Director of Service for GE Healthcare. Ben has six children: Noah (PRA graduate), Anya (19), Caden (17), Zeke (16) Ari (10) and Ian (6). In addition to running, Ben spends his free time cycling and snowboarding in the mountains.
Von Miller, Assistant XC Coach and Head Track & Field Coach
Coach Miller has been an avid and lifelong running fanatic. Coach Miller ran XC and track & field in high school and specialized in distance running events. While in college, Coach Miller began his coaching career at Northglenn High School. At one point, he held the CHSAA record for youngest XC head coach in state history. Coach Miller has made coaching stops at Alameda HS (Lakewood), Sheridan HS (Denver), and Stargate HS (Thornton.) Along the way, Coach Miller has had the opportunity to coach several state qualifying teams and numerous future collegiate athletes. Coach Miller has a B.S. in Human Performance & Sport. and a M.Ed in Educational Leadership. In his day job, Coach Miller is the PRA HS assistant principal. Outside of PRA, you can find Coach Miller spending time with his family and training for his next half marathon.
