Prospect Ridge Academy Miner Athlete Code of Conduct
I acknowledge that as an athlete on a Prospect Ridge Academy (PRA) athletic team that I agree to, and understand, the following Code of Conduct. The following Code will be enforced as long as I am a member of this team, and will cover all activities pertaining to my involvement as an student-athlete with PRA; the use of any facility contracted by the team for practice and any other purpose; and also include behavior during scheduled competition times at all meets for the duration of organized travel arranged by PRA for the purpose of competition or training. Ultimately, the goal of such a code is to ensure a positive learning environment for my academic and athletic development.
PRA coaches/administrators are the final authority on discipline issues and reserve the right to impose the following disciplines if adherence to the guidelines and rules are not met:
Violation Level 1: Written warning from the coaches requiring signatures from the student-athlete and their parents. This will include loss of start and playing time as determined by the Coach and Athletic Director.
Violation Level 2: Up to One-week suspension from the team. This means you will not enter athletic facilities during practices or attend any competition events during this week with no refund of dues or fees.
Violation Level 3: Student-athletes case will be presented to school administration with the recommendation of immediate dismissal from the team with no refund of dues or fees.

Student-athletes, who violate this code out of season, including summer months, are subject to disciplinary action at the beginning of the next competitive season in which they participate. This contract is in effect from the signing date until the student officially graduates or transfers to another school.
Furthermore, all PRA student-athletes are expected to uphold the values of honesty, integrity, respect and responsibility as citizens in the PRA community. If a student-athlete does misbehave, the consequences for the infraction will be immediate, relevant and effectual and up to the discretion of the student-athletes coach and administration.
